Why Corn-free, Soy-free Organic Feed? Well, most chickens, even those labeled as pasture-raised, are typically fed diets full of corn, soy, and other high PUFA ingredients. This high PUFA intake will increases PUFA levels in the eggs that they lay, in addition to the common allergens, like soy. These special-fed chickens will lay eggs that contain a healthier fatty acid profile (higher omega-3 to omega 6 ratio, less Linoleic Acid) , which is better you and the chicken. People with allergies will find that they will tolerate these special-fed chicken’s eggs much better as well.

In all, by ensuring these hens are fed a diet free from corn and soy, these chickens will produce eggs that are low in PUFA, have a healthier fatty acid profile, rich in nutrients, allergen-friendly, and delicious! Meaning more of the good, less of the bad.
